I posted on socials recently about some burnout. When I get overwhelmed it leads to shutting down and shutting out, which of course leads to being even more overwhelmed. It’s a tough cycle.
Moral of the story? When your wife says “let’s go on a Disney cruise, just the two of us,” the answer should always be “yes.” And more broadly - make sure you find time for self-care. You’re not helping yourself or anyone else if you’re constantly pushing through something.
